Miller Krueger Dodge in Libertyville, Illinois. Note hood raised slightly in the rear for fresh air intake/hot air exhaust. That's a trick for the classes were you can't run a hood scoop.

Looks like it's still in business.

Not in business. It closed about the time of the bankruptcy BS. Knocked down and replaced with a strip mall.

Looks like it was still open in recent years.

The interior shot makes this place look like an interesting stop.

1952, Denison Nash, 13th at Harvey, Oklahoma City. Still there but repurposed. I like what they did with it.

I believe if I saw it today I would recognize the outlines of a former dealership .. shapely box with BIG windows facing a main drag, connected to a streetside, boxy "garage/warehouse" where repairs/service would have been done.

Maybe circa. 2000, long after Nash was defunct, it was some other things.

1946, the future Winkfield Burgher Motors (Nash), 301 St. Helens, St.Helen's OR. Even had gas pumps on the property. Nothing distinctive, EXCEPT smaller market buildings were economically built (not llike those Don Lee California palaces - posts #80, #81, #323).

Still there in 2019

No idea on this one, but a great picture. This is the kind of stuff I like... Working people in their native environment.

The crane with the car dangling from it makes this pic great.

This was just up the road in Auburn, NY. I know the street it was on, but I'm drawing a blank where it was on that street.

This one is in Ontario Canada. The only reason I included this is "Seager" is an alternate spelling of my last name.

Wisconsin. A few things worthy of note.... First is this is when they wore uniforms to pump gas and work on your car. I believe the ties might actually be leather, but I'm not sure. They have some sort of electric test rig wheeled out too. But what really caught my eye is the different gas company pumps. I see Mobilgas and Texaco. I can't make out the one on the far left, it has the generic ethyl logo, but a lot of brands used that to designate their high octane gas.
