I almost started fighting in AAP yesterday with a Chevy A-Hole...

I normally don't even give idiots like this the time of day. I walked away from him twice and he kept following me around the store and getting in my face talking **** in a very condescending manner. The 3rd time was enough.....I gave him an option and a reality check and he backed off immediately.

You can't fix stupid, you did what you had to.

The Chevy boy was probably too stupid to know that GM and Chrysler vehicles have different bolt patterns.

Yes and those dumd asses think they have the more popular. They are the only ones that use that spacing 4 1/2 is way more popular including equipment

My Imp has a 5" bolt pattern but you'll never see GM rims on it!

Anything but pure Mopar on your car would get you lynched by at least 1/2 a dozen guys from here.

Life is way too short to be taking unwarranted $hit off of anyone, and you can't change human nature. Many arrogant asses wouldn't be the way that they are if they had ever caught a good blow to the chops when they were running their mouth and the vast majority would be just like your situation and change their attitude when they realized that they just poked a bear one too many times and will develope a better more considerate way without literally getting their nose bent out of shape.

If we ever get on the opposite sides of a couple beers, I have a couple funny stories on this topic. The heel of your hand to the forehead will send someone flying without doing damage to anything but their tailbone and their misplaced pride.

The talk of jail is way over the top on a simple attitude adjustment senario like this. Entering the law over some trivial crap like this is a sad decline in our society when we are no longer allowed to defend ourselves whether it be verbal or physical. We're not talking of beating someone into the emergency room here. My situation this spring when my oldest brother and his troll wife poisoned Oz would be more in line with that category and yes, had I not been able to control myself, I would likely be in jail and they in the hospital, in long term care.

You can't fix stupid, you did what you had to.

True, you can't fix stupid, but you can make them think before opening their mouth to anyone in the general public. A good surprize *** chewing can cure some of the worst mouths. I truly believe the world would be a better place if more people would stand up for themselves and not let dipshits make a hobby out of hasseling any random person whenever they feel like it.

Good man... If there were more people with your attitude, there would be less morons that run their mouth in a disturbing manner and it starts at an early age. I think bullying is at an all time high, because little brats that pick on smaller kids don't have some other kid step in to put them in their place. The kid causing the problem has no respect for the police, and think they look like a bad-*** when the cops get involved, and the ones that would like to step in to protect another, won't because they are threatened with getting the police involved and don't want to be labeled as troublesome for trying to help another. The world was a better place not long ago when kids and adults were praised for doing the right thing and not told they have to involve the police in even the most trivial things. It is sad... How did we get so stupid?

(Not sure that this rant was even 2 cents worth, but it is a topic that bothers me.)

So.... What you're saying is that it... Has to be Mopar?

Nicely put and I must agree about not calling police that just makes everyones wallets lighter no matter right or wrong.

Been thinking about joining this...

The ONLY issue I have with this is if it would be used against you should something happen. In other words, you've already primed and prepared for shooting someone. Some aggressive DA could bring this up to a Grand Jury that you were looking for a fight and wanted to shoot someone.

Other than that, it's probably a good idea.

I know a self defense trainer that is always preaching to watch what you say and do, especially on the internet. He's an ex cop himself and has several LEOs working for him (including one police chief) teaching armed self defense. His advice is always good and based on fact. If I get a chance, I'm going to ask him about this.

One thing he would say about this thread... Don't get yourself in this situation to begin with. He'd say to walk away, especially if you are carrying.
