Not really.......

Those steering wheels are hard to find (with no cracks) and it's about a $1000 NOS if you find one or to have it recast. I never ever use the telescoping feature on mine ever. So why is it a deal??? Better off with just a tilt column and putting a Grant wood grain wheel on it for less than half the price of a NOS or recast tilt/telescoping steering wheel.

Said the man who was on a relentless search for the perfect steering wheel.
I can't believe you said that. Were you drinking tonight?
I'd use a pair of vice-grips on the center nut before doing that.

I was in the process of machining a new hub from a block of aluminum billet to make the Grant wheel work. It would of cost me less than 100 bucks for materials. I already had the Grant wheel from a previous project. I still have it.

I lucked out getting that Charger leather steering wheel for $50 and I had to mod the rear of the hub on a lathe to make it work.

You're right..........Mr. C is the ONLY PERSON on this forum with 100% stock or correct formal's. :poke:

The other 74 NY'er coupe I'm looking at is 100% correct.....so far.

I have a formal expert looking at it for me. I should have a complete report soon.

I was just given one of these columns the other day. The one I have from from a 71.

What steering wheel fits?
