Going Down?

Thanks, dude. I know that it's not your taste but I LOVE it. I'm now just as excited about this car as I am about the Polara.
Actually, that is my style for these cars. I can't bring myself to modify my car but I know it would look flucking amazing. I will do something like this to one of these cars but it'll be a slabby, maybe even a 4 door hardtop.

Car looks good wheels, tires, lowering, digging the pimperial also these big cars should not sit like a gasser, do it, drive it

I thought you were more purist but just open to other people's tastes. I would love to slam a slab. I'm not a big 4 door guy but these slabby 4 doors look just plain bad *** when they're slammed.

The stock ride height is pretty damn high. I went down 3" & I can still lay under the car at both ends...

I am a purist, I wouldn't do it to a survivor or a rare example.

Damn that looks good!! Like I said before, I can't wait to see a pic of it sitting in the driveway!! And I friggin love that Pimperial...you should put some 3M emblem two sided tape on the back of that "P" and install it!! And those wires with the Wide whites...again Love it!!

I've wanted to drop the wagon for the longest time. But we travel with it almost every year for our family vacations...so I want to retain the ride as much as possible. But once my daughters are on their own I think a drop will be on the agenda. ;)

That wagon is begging to get slammed.

What size are they?

Don't get me wrong, the car looks good as is! I like it, just don't like wires, could be traumatic experience I had from the '80s working for my dad in his detail shop. I'm sure there is a buried memory from getting fingers stuck in one somewhere! :-D

Find me one. Even a picture of one.

And as another representative of the SoCal contingent, let me say that car is dope. I love lowriders. If you put on the geometric shadow graphics? That would be sofaking cool.

Doing a quick search for dingle balls, I came across a bunch of pics. Here's another one, a Lincoln:

The thing I find interesting is the Mexican blanket on the dash. Lowriders are so intertwined with the Chicano culture in the area, it's totally a natural. I'm guessing that's how they migrated to the hot-rod/rat-rod scene. But that's another discussion.

I also totally dig the color combo. Wires, white walls, red body, with white top. Really good looking combination. Looking forward to better weather for you so I can see better pics.

Before buying the Imp, I looked at a lot of cars. It still makes me a little bummed I didn't get a car that was easy to bag. I totally love the idea of driving around at about stock ride height, and pulling up next to some uptight dude or little old lady, and flipping a switch and dropping to the bump stops. Not only that, but I'm white, in my 40s and an office professional. I love how I would be a total mismatch for the "typical" owner, and be so much more shocking for it.

Looks good man and
those wires are pimptastic! And those 4 door hardtops do look great lowered!

I meant find a picture of a pimped fuselage Imp. Dingleballs or no dingleballs... Dave thinks I could have just bought one instead of ruining this one.

I'm also bummed that I couldn't just bag it. Hydraulics just aren't for me cuz I don't want all that **** in the trunk. We'll see how she rides once the salt is gone.

Wrong Ross, Imperials just aint lying around just the way she sits she appears to have come right from the 70's....... Despite the ball breaking i have already told you several times i like your ideas on the Imperials and they look great..... now what?
