I was wondering if I can pull the complete front suspension off my 62 dodge 880 in one piece. I know on other chrysler products you can pull the K frame completely out. I was even thinking I might be able to leave the motor and trans in place and drop it out of the bottom of the car.

Any input or suggestions would be welcome

The Factory Service Manual outlines the procedure, complete with engine and transmission.

Although I removed all the front sheet metal first this still shows the assembly complete.

Here is what I did with my Barracuda...

The differences from a k-member are you will probably need to lift the whole car up not just the front.
The upper control arms and shocks are not connected to the body.
On the 69 there are 10 bolts to the body, 2 to the core support, wheel liners may need to come out or just remove the screw that connect to the fenders.
Like the k-member the steering column and exhaust need to be disconnected.
I don't think a 62 is much different and if it can be done it will be outlined in the FSM.
