Born and raised into it.Dad always had Chrysler products. Came home from birth in a 53 Chrysler Windsor.Over the years he had 2 non Mopar cars that my brother drug home ,a 67 Chevy station wagon and a 79 Mustang turbo 4 banger.They wagon got junked for a bad frame and the Mustang was quickly traded in on a new K car.Dad's last car before he passed was a 2000 Neon.We still have it.

I almost get the feeling you are on the wrong forum.....not sensing much love for the Mopars. I like Fords almost as much as Mopars, but your blanket statements make me laugh, I.e....Chevy makes the best trucks....LOL. Must be why Ford outsells them and they are quickly losing market share to Ram. You sound more like a govt motors guy that stumbled onto a Mopar forum. I'll apologize if proven wrong, but even if wrong you sure come across that way.

I don't classify myself as a brand specific type of guy. I love cars, all of em'. I got into the Plymouth's because I liked the 68 my neighbor had. But I also liked his 70 442. I've had a 74 Torino Starsky and Hutch replica, Chevy's, Old's, Dodge's and my DD is an 08 Mustang GT. My dream car is a 70 Pontiac Grand Prix or a A990 clone

My brother and I were 13 yrs old (twins) living in the south bronx and my older brothers best friend gave us a 62 chrysler 300 2dr blk with red interior and it had a 392 hemi in it.
we turned in bottles for gas money and storage. We would go sit in the car start it and make it rumble. Hooked ever since. I have had a few since them 64 monaco 383 4 spd factory car no options. 65 coronet sweet clean car . 68 coronet 440 (won a summer nationals once with it) beat out a fully blown 62 nova he was not happy. some others and now my 62 880.

sweet. some people build cars to win trophys and others just for the enjoyment. i love to see trophy chasers buying them later after the car show.

Yeah, me too. I don't hold it against anyone for having other car interests in fact I like a most classic cars, but it's a little off putting to be on a site dedicated to Mopar C bodies and have someone constantly calling them Dadge and talking up non Mopars over Mopars and bragging how they are not a Mopar guy. Some things don't need to be said ... over and over.

You don't have to go away just learn the very soft boundaries of a faithful group that you made the choice to join. Most of the regular posters on this board have been at it for almost a good 4 years. Change is inevitable but this will always be a MOPAR forum.

And they'll call you on the same crap, cause most the members here are there too. It might fly at moparts but at the dedicated C sites you're likely to encounter the same thing.
