Hey everybody! I'm Jack and I've been under the hood for 45 years. My son Jesse and I were looking for an old school ride to build up after much work on his 2000 Z28. We lucked into a very solid 65 Polara 2 door 383 auto survivor car with almost everything there. Motor starts so one hurdle down. Car had dead manual brakes which I would like to upgrade to power/dual master. I will search the site but would also welcome all comments and suggestions on this aspect of the build. Thanks!

Welcome to the party Jack to you and your son. For that power brake conversion you're gonna need at least the booster, M/C, and the peddle 'n push rod for sure. Beyond that you need to make the decision if you're gonna stay with 4 wheel drumz or get disc'z at the front cornerz. and then 14"s or 15"s. The 65 Polara is a nice ol' car. Quite a few one off items on the 65, but with a little patience you can find most everything - at least yours looks to have a pretty good body so it's a great starting point.
