I had never heard of/seen on before, until a few months ago. There was another one for sale in the orlando area. I like em!

Rare car......too bad the original engine is blown.

I would prefer that they simply slap on a bumper sticker that says "I am so stupid that I actually believe I'm cool if I put on hood scoops".
At least save the car the humiliation...

This is not a real 79 300. all 79 300's were built consecutively at 2 factories and were ALL hardtops! There were 7 Red300's built, all for Canada export. All 3800 or so had red interiors, including the 7 red hardtops.
And i'm sure no "hoodscoops"
Let's see a copy of the buikd sheet!

I call bullshit on this as well. This is a transformed Cordoba. All 300's were hardtops. I used to have one and did a lot of research on them. They were all white with red interiors, but some Canadian 300's were red with red interiors.
.

The build sheet (if it is the original) will tell what it really is. I bet the fender tag has been messed with too.

Obviously its not a factory convertible since there was a Chrysler corporation convertible void between 71 and 82 but the conversion companies probably did this one as well much like the later Cordobas, Miradas and Imperials.

I don't know much about the 78/79 300s but I'd like to see proof
