Hi all. Not sure if there is any interest out there or perhaps this is old news, but I have an Auto Temp II service manual. It describes in detail the system and how it is designed to work, plus gives diagnostic info to repair various issues. I'm attaching a couple of pics. If there is any interest in this manual, I could investigate scanning the 59 pages and getting them out there. I am a lo-tech (close to no-tech!) computer guy so I'd have to get someone local here to scan it but it should be no problem - just may take a while to get it done.

I would like a copy.

I would think that 69Coronet R/T would like to scan it and publish it on the Hamnrtrack.

Is it the AutoTemp I or II system in my '69 Imperial?
You have ATC II but there was an early and a late ATC II.
His manual is for the later. Your Imp has the super dreaded earlier.
Vodka, you've got the Imp torn down into 4,218.713.4 pieces anyway. Don't try and restore the ATC II. Install a manual A/C.

I'm going to work on getting it scanned in this week and share it with anyone who has expressed an interest. As for today, it is finally over 60 degrees and sunny here and my golf clubs someone got into the trunk of my 75 Imp. Guess it's a round of holes for me!

The Auto Temp II was introduced 1971. So vdk2010 should have an Auto Temp I in his 69 Imperial (if it has that option). Auto Temp I can fail, too, but the black box lives behind the passenger side kick panel, and is thus separate from the fairly simple water valve. So there is a slight chance of getting it to work again.
