I post about a clutch rod that commando1 doesnt know what im talking about, so you assume im lying and just delete my post and me from the forums? or is it because i posted my phone number so i could send you pics of the clutchrod so i could get your assistance on getting it out of the side of this trans.... which i got it out on my own, i just broke the threaded part that goes inside it... didnt mean to, but now i need to find another.

anyway, im starting restore on my dads 65 fury 3 2d 383 4speed that he bought brand new. seeking help on finding parts and getting the job done. not having to register each time would be much appreciated

ok well that makes sense then. this is what i get for being outside pulling an engine and trans in the wee hours of the morning.

from what i've seen on others posts in here, the best place to find replacement parts for a 65 is used parts.. will any other years fit 65 quarters? decklid? bumpers?
i've been told sport furys are the same, just the moulding is different.. is that true?

Also as a BTW, there are split plastic bearings that go inside that shaft, grab those right way while you're ordering from Brewers. I have the same car as you, did all my bushings when I did the new clutch, shifts like a dream.
