SOLD '71? Newport? Rear bumper assembly.

I have this from a '71 Chrysler(I think). It is very solid and pretty straight. It would make a good driver quality piece or a core for rechrome. Pictures tell the story.
it's located in the Detroit area so local pick up would be preferred.

I don't own the lens so I'd never seen them together. The lens is a friends from the other side of the state and I saw it at the Nats.

i believe you have a pre '71 bumper - my '71 does not have the script but my '70's do

Matt..sorry, late to the party here as I just saw this. may not help the cause much but here it is anyway.

My 71 Newport has the script bumper too...could be a replacement someone did long ago or the real thing from factory. Couldnt find a 71 dealer brochure pic to clarify, but the one i did see showed the 71 Newport Custom has some other adornment where the script is, while the "E" class car like mine wasn't shown from the rear.

The '70 brochure did show both cars though..the Custom with fancy do-dads and the "regular" Newport with the script emblem. Maybe that carried over to 71?

If you need the tail lights for this bumper I have a nos set I will never use and they are in great shape just make an offer I don't want yo see these go to waste
