Hi all,
since ive had the car my temp/gas gauges dont work. I changed out my regulator and didnt help so i did a bit of research today and seems that due to the gauges being 6v, theres a voltage limiter in the circuit. according to the service manual its either on the circuit board of the gauges or inside the gas gauge itself.
I had a quick look before i left for work and as i couldnt locate the limiter itself, im assuming its inside the gas gauge.
Has anyone had any experience with repairing these?
i found a post where someone replaced the copper wire inside the gauge that burnt out, but assuming i have a faulty limiter, its going to allow 12v to the gauges and just blow out the wire again.
Ive attached a picture of the circuit board incase im wrong but any help/guides would be handy.
