Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend spark plug wires that would fit a 63 New Yorker with a 413 ci. I've ordered about 3 different sets and none of them fit, they're all to short and don't have the correct 45 degree bend to them.
Thanks,
Joe

sometimes you get wires that have to be assembled...... Those have never worked out well for me.

you just need the proper tool to crimp the terminals on with

It probably gets by 50% of those who are buying those for the first time purchase. I made that mistake the first time also, but I can't blame anyone but myself for not taking the time to read up about those or ask anyone who already had them.

I agree, I bought those once and didn't have the crimping tool, I did use them but I thought never again. If you have the tool I guess it's not a big deal. What is the benefit, is it so you can cut the wires to the length you need? If that's the case that would make sense. I think I'll go with the Lectric Limited ones. Thanks for all the help!

I've never had an issue buying the correct length wires off the shelf so unless there is a huge difference in price can't see messing around with it.

I ordered the spark plug wires from Lectric Limited on Sunday and they arrived on Tuesday but they are local to me. I installed them tonight and they fit perfect and are date coded (3Q 62) which that's not real important to me but I'm very satisfied with them so far and they're probably the last set of wires I buy for the car. Thanks again polara 71 for the information. The companies even on a clip on Youtube from Jay Leno's garage but talking about wiring harnesses, they make them too!
Joe
