Anyone know of a source or the part number for the fuel sending unit for the 69-71 wagons? Are all the wagon units compatible?

Thanks

Hank, In the Fussie yearz that sending unit "should" be the same for all three, Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth. I wouldn't bother looking for an NOS unit for your Long Roof. You'll still be looking when you've reached the point when your DMV refuses to re-new your license! Maybe Len Dawson, or GULP....Mitchell. Gawd I can't believe I even uttered that name. Personally I'd web search Moore's Auto Salvage in Rapid City, S.D., take the tour and check out their wagon supply in those yearz. Betcha they have what you need. Worst case scenario iz that it can be re-built but don't ask me who or where. The only guy I knew that did it went toez up 10 yearz ago! One other trick you can try iz to find a NEW replacement unit from an A-B- or C-Body of the same vintage for any of those 3 marques and GRAFT (Cut 'N Splice your rod and float) to the new unit and bend as needed? Necessity iz ah mother my friend. G.L. with it, Jer

Thank You Alan, and I'm sure Hank will thank You also for the E-bay #s. The key word here tho' is "WAGON" sending unit but for $50 + shipping and ah little fabricating that would be required, the hole and coller should be the same so it's still ah Piece-ah-Cake win win. The float rod iz probably at least ah foot longer on the wagon sending unit because the 22 gallon tank sitz vertically in the left quarter on the fusiez and I'm pretty sure they were in the right quarter on the Slabz 'tho it probably wouldn't matter 'cept for the way the rod bendz, Jer

I got my 77 T&C sender on Partsvoice- it is totally different than the 2/4dr version. To my knowledge, nobody makes wagon sending units.

Rebuilding is probably a good route too. When I swapped mine, I found that the sender is actually fine. My problem turned out to be a sunken float. I found a hole in the brass float n the groove where the arm clamps onto it.

thanks all. I bought a sending unit from Len Dawson for $85. Now just hope the gage works.....
