The owner of these wheels (John) asked me to post and ad on FCBO of these road wheels 15x6. He has 4 wheels, no trim rings, 2 centers are perfect, the other 2 not so perfect. He asking $220 for all 4 wheels.

If you are interested, please call John @ 443-824-8711. I don't have any other info about the wheels, you'll have to call him.

Road wheels

Thats a great deal on those wheels. I'd jump on them if I hadn't already scared up a set of five. I'm still missing one trim ring and one snap on dome cap.
The Cbody parts guy in Ohio quoted $200.00 PER WHEEL w/trim ring and center.

I'll go down and get them if they are still there by next weekend........of course, you know they won't be, esp now that I said that

Just a note: HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY TRIM RINGS.

I got a bunch of those, including four NOS that are waiting for the perfect car.

I missed a set of these wheels that were local for a hundred bucks. The fellow had them in storage for over 20 years. The buyer only took the rings and the centers, paid the hundred and left the wheels.

And I missed another set of four NOS rings by less than an hour plus a single NOS one for twenty bucks that Indiana bought.

I paid a kings ransom for the set I have. I bought them off e-bay five years ago

He tried selling them at Carlise...no luck. He's the guy with the tan Newport with the Charger wheels on it.

Cant be the same guy, why wouldnt he take the wheels to sell those too?

It is the same guy and he had his Newport with the Charger wheels on it parked right by his booth. He was right outside of the building with the Mod Tops. He had the wheels for sale at Carlisle. The wheels just didn't sell.

geez......economy really is in the tank. I cannot think of any fusey or slab that doesn't look great with road wheels on it. while we are on the subject, can anyone tell me the diff between the older and 'newer' version of the road wheels?

Keep us posted on the availability.......I have seen many nice cars that just don't have the wheels, they would be a welcome addition to any C, IMO.

Bob, the fellow that had the wheels on craigslist for a hundred isnt in the Mopar scene anymore. He would have taken less because he thought they were for a worthless C body. He is a friend of a friend who told me about the ad.

As I understand it in the later 70's the wheels became 15x7's, dont know if that is true. Then you have the center domes that are different. The trim rings are the same for all years and are only correct on C bodies.
