I am New To the forum This is my 66 fury III It is a street/strip car it has a 440/race prepped 727 and 3.91 sure grip my best et so far is 14.15 @99 with a 2.10 60 ft time. On the way home from the track last time out i believe i spun a rod bearing so motor came out yesterday and my backup 440 will be going in. I am thinking of stroking the spun motor and doing some traction upgrades ( Caltracs ) to improve the 60 ft times. Hoping to be low 13s when done.View attachment 43570

He is 14 so the car bug has not bit him yet ,but my 18 year old daughter has helped me work on the car and loves going to the track. So she has shown an interest in running it down the 1/4 It aint the fastest thing out there but it is usually the only older Mopar Out there.

Nice car, very cool. It's great that you compete at the strip and having the young ones showing an interest is an added bonus.

My daughters have both joined the school drag racing club, neither wanted to race the Junior dragsters though, but at least they are showing an interest. They are 12 and 13. Glad your daughter...and probably your son eventually, are showing an interest in the old cars.

I have been taking the wagon to a few of the local street legal drags held Friday nights at the local strip. Kids usually come out to watch and cheer Dad on. ;) And my oldest has asked if she can race the old wagon one day when she has her license....YUP!

I love the car! Your set up is pretty close to mine! Sounds great, and I love that your kids are involved! I have all mine "in"volved as well! Here is a pic of them, in the trunk of my Fury! Haha
