I put the Fury on CL to see what response I would get and hunny said "you should sell the car,..you never use it". So I put it up really high at $9500 so no one would respond and I keep the car. LOL!! Anyway, I get an email from a local guy and offers me his custom Harley as an even trade. It's a 93 soft tail with a new 100ci revtech. See pictures. I've owned bikes in the past, but never a Harley. This one has only 4000 miles on it, but I'm not sure what it's worth. You guys have any thoughts of what it could be worth and if this model is one of their better models? I don't know much about Harley's.

I'll trade for damn near anything - EXCEPT bikes, boats, and critters. I'd keep looking. Bikers are invisible to everybody.

His scoot has some nice custom touches, but your car is worth more that a straight trade on this H-D.

I'm keeping the car. I was just wondering what the bike was worth. Plus I don't want to get smashed on a bike.

and you came to a c-body board to ask if you should trade.
If you would have been on a Harley board the answers might have been different:yes_no:

John I was about to get on a plane and come kick your a$$ man! When I saw the title of the thread I almost picked up the phone to call you and chew you a new one! LOL.

When it comes to Harleys, there is only one bike to have - The Electra Glide (any variation: Classic, Ultra, etc.). It is the best handling and the most comfortable. It also has the highest resale of almost any motorcycle out there.

Bikes are not selling these days......this guy is trying to unload the bike. Check out all the ad venues. You can even get NEW bikes for reasonable prices now. They just aren't selling. Every Harley dealer that I've been in during the last year still have new bikes from the last model year that haven't sold.

This is true. However, the touring class bikes (Electra Glides) are the best sellers for the dealers.
