Hi, I have been a MOPAR nut since 1966. Normally work on B bodys, 66-67 Chargers and Coronets. I am getting ready to start on the grandparents all original 72 New Yorker. It hasn't run in several years but is all there, 440, 4 barrel, auto, a/c, ps, pb, 4 door sedan. I am at present in Houston taking chemo for a reoccurance of my Agent Orange cancer that cost me my entire right leg in 2004. But I am not ready to quit. I still ride my 1991 HD Softail with a sidecar. I am looking forward to returning to Oklahoma and getting started on the New Yorker.

Hell Ya! Good to see a fellow vet/MOPAR nut/Harley rider!

15 year Military Police officer(enlisted E-7)(served in Iraq and Afghanistan)
own a 65 Plymouth Fury II wagon and a 66 Plymouth Fury III
ride a 1998 HD Road King 95th Anniversary Edition

Thanks for your service brother... can't wait to see your work on the New Yorker!

65-66 Fury: Thank you for your service. I was an enlisted MP and after a direct commission retired as a Major MP with 34 years. I was "given" the privelege of Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Iraq. I am looking forward to getting back and working on the New Yorker. I love the Chargers and Coronets but the C body needs to be moving, not parked. Chemo brain took over when I said it was a 76, it really is a 72. I have a set of the 15" wheels for it, and a lot of parts.

Welcome to the site and thank you both for the sacrifices you made for our country.

Wow... I wonder how many guys on here are vets? Well at least I know one thing we all like fast cars, fast bikes, and fast women! LOL

Rick, what ship were you on? I had a good high school buddy of mine on the Nimitz

Ya I was given the privelege of Afganistan once and Iraq twice. My dad was in Siagon during the Tet offensive and my uncle was a ground pounder (lots of stories). Don't think Iraq and Afghan compares to what you guys did in Vietnam...

Welcome to the site .... we have a great group of men and women who love the Mopar name. .... Thank you for all your sacrifices :yourock:

Don't shoot me but I spent 6 years in the Navy, spent 3 years on USS Ticonderoga, CVA-14, aircraft carrier. Those 3 years were on tours to Vietnam. The rest of my time was in the Army.
