I was idling in traffic on the freeway home and my car stalled. I determined that there was no fuel reaching the carburetor. I figured it was a clogged fuel filter, so I changed it and it worked. To make sure, I blew through the old filter and very little air could make it through. Not 50 miles later I was idling in traffic again and the same thing happened.
I figure there are contaminants in the fuel tank and that my tank needs to be serviced, but it was serviced in late 2006 by a very trustworthy shop.Any ideas? Thanks for your input.
