Help needed!!!! 62 Newport

I am having a hell of a time finding a brake booster for this car! Is there a replacment or a universal style can use instead? Or another year that would fit??:sSig_thanks:

You could take your old one to Napa and have them send it out for a rebuild too. I found one online from Auto Zone for my 63 New Yorker, I picked it up from a local store and brought my old one in for the core charge. It looked a little different than mine, so in hind sight I probably would have mine rebuilt. The one I bought seems to work fine though.

Just talked to Dewey!

This group just keeps on giving. I was having trouble with having a soft pedal, replaced the master cylinder and bled the system, the booster was next on the list because the MS had dumped fluid out the back seal into the booster. Talked to Booster Dewey today, and he's going to give my booster some badly needed loving shortly. These old posts just keep on providing great info. Thanks all!
