Hi Guys
Im certain this has been covered but I couldn't find in a search and I don't have a service manual yet (I know, I know) So, Im replacing ball joints and tie rods for my disc swap.
I removed the lower joint/spindle with a jack under the lower control arm - this allowed me to unbolt the lower hardware without tension and all came apart fairly easy.
Im now trying to reinstall the spindle but the lower control arm wont compress enough to get the upper ball joint anywhere close to the spindle to thread - with the jack under the control arm it just lifts the whole car up off my jack stands...
Do I need to fully release torsion bar tension on the adjuster bolts or something???
