My favorite place for ice cream around here is Peter's Polar Parlor. They have real vanilla custard!

Second favorite is Skan-Ellus drive in. They are a little closer and also do a cruise night on Mondays and you get a free ice cream cone for showing up with your car.

Went to this little ice cream / custard stand on a byway that cuts across the farm and woodlands of south jersey. Dave probably been by here a million plus two times. A little piece of Americana that is still alive and thriving. This is down the road from the Cowtown rodeo; another piece of Americana. According to the management saturday nights are the times to come in for ice cream cause all sorts of cars come in and sit......to be continued.

Nice! The kid doesn't look too happy...old enough to drive?

X2 on the road wheels, or at least steelies with poverty caps... :poke:

The Hilltop creamery is where the Hilltop Cruisers call home. June ushers in a new owner and things may not be the same......

Have never eaten 'frozen custard'. Am I missing something? Is it a 'east coast' deal? Don't see that around Seattle. Or maybe I need to get out more often.

Frozen custard is like ice cream except it has eggs in it. It makes the ice cream creamier and richer to the taste.

No not quite yet. Actually I have a set of poverty caps....they were on my Duster way back when....but on a Chrysler? Mmm. don't know about that. lol

Vanilla is the S**T! I have 2 fantastic soft serve places right near me peach, banana, lemon...man I want some ice cream now.

We'll be headed back to that little custard stand saturday night. I wanna see who/what parks out there while Cowtown rodeo is banging away a little ways down the highway.

Heath bar blizzard with vanilla soft serve. Dairy Queen works for these but we also have a couple of soft serve joints out on Woodward Ave that do them just as good.
