I can not for the life of me get a wrench on the front bolt of the front wheel cylinder. How the heck are you supposed to replace these without removing the whole wheel? The bracket that holds the wheel on is completely in the way!!!

I ended up removing all 4 bolts that hold on the backing plate and removing the whole thing. You need to support under the ball joint to keep everything from flopping down. The 2 big bolts with the castellated nuts and cotter pins were a PITA!:BangHead: That allowed me to clean everything up and re-assembly was a breeze.

I knew I was gonna have to remove it. Seems like a PITA just to do the cylinders but I gotta do em. First chance I get I swapping over to discs in the front. Thanks for the tips guys

I would have done the swap, but I have no money for 15" wheels or anything else for that matter.

i knocked the wheel cyl back and forwards to break the bolts off but they loosened up enough to screw out with my fingers. my cly. came with new bolts so i didn't care if i messed the old ones up. i bought a 71 challenger convert. back in the 80s for $800. because the guy couldn't get the front cyl. off to fix the brakes. i wish i had that car now. wo wee i'd be in the money
