Anyone familiar with OSHPO rust treatment

Has anyone used Oshpo rust treatment for their resto project? If so, what were your experiences?

We used to use it on our Coast Guard boat to treat rust. Worked great in the early 90s.

Good stuff for metal prep. Same thing basically as Jasco Prep n' Prime. Phosphoric Acid solution.

I've used it. It etches the bare metal and gives the illusion that the surface rust is converted to stable metal because the treated areas turn blackish grey. If you prep and prime those areas soon, you are good. If you wait though, the rust will return as if it were never treated.

I've heard that POR15 works well too.

Much cheaper alternative with higher concentration at homedepot. Sold as concrete prep and etch.
