Brocade interior was available all the way until the end of Dodge C-Body production in 1977.

I've seen 2 or 3 1977 Royal Monaco's with this same interior. I've never looked at the VIN's or fender tags to verify year and interior codes. I will from now on....and take pictures.

As Matt would say, Pictures or it never happened. Lmfao

I have no doubt there could have been 77's with '76 interiors.
The one listed here is proof, I believe.
Chrysler may have run a batch of cars to get rid of leftover inventory.
Probably offer them as a Zone blowout.

Several years ago I would have pursued this Royal Monaco. I really like it.

I'm on it! Nice car!

Its been a few days... any news to share? Here's what I see in the pics that I wouldn't like... those wire covers are a bit of a PITA, I don't remember them that far back, but could be wrong. The aftermarket radio is always a turn off for me, if you have to have it hide it, don't cut the dash. the screw holes in the ashtray from some former installed device, cell phone cradle perhaps? That's all pretty minor stuff. The passenger seat has a lot of bad seems and the drivers isn't given enough detail pic's, but I would assume both will need upholstery help... is that material available? I don't think the car would be the same without it. And rust issue area's aren't really photographed in a way to convince me its all clean... it may be... I just cant see it in these pics. The price seems fair especially for a dealer (that scares me a little too), but I would really want to see more to guess if it was a car I think was a bargain.

The guy took a deposit on it last week and is waiting for the rest of the money.... He says he will contact me if the deal falls through.

hopefully it gets to you or another good home.

Do you know how much he is selling it for?
No idea, but he did say the guy was from NY. He gave him 500 on an American express card and was supposed to Fed ex him the rest...seems funny that it hasn't arrived yet.
Seems to me that he should have paid for the whole car on AE then just paid the card off. No interest if paid within 30 days. Then he wouldn't have to dick around with getting a bank check, paying Fed ex etc....

That is weird.....I bet we see it for sale again......with a higher price tag.

Good for you, its a gorgeous car

You probably already know...make sure those tires are not more than 8 years old if you are going to drive it home. Tire failure is not fun...especially going through the mountains.
