Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifold - B Engines-440 SourceStealth Aluminum Cylinder Head - COMPLETE - SINGLE HEAD-440 SourceB/RB Tri-Y HeadersVoodoo Hydraulic Flat Tappet & Lifter Kit - Chrysler 361-440 Three Bolt 268/276 - Lunati Powerhttp://www.summitracing.com/parts/hly-0-80508s/overview/ If you use all these parts listed in the links you will get guaranteed good results out of your build. The parts I have selected for you will easily make you 400 plus hp and will work well with a 2400 stall convertor and 3.55 gears . Now its time to break open that piggy bank and check under the sofa cushions for spare change, sell a few pints of blood or whatever it takes to come up with the cash.

Aside from the heads that are ungodly expensive:stop:, it soumds like a plan, with the intake and the carb and cam I'm gonna assume around 370hp. Maybe a little optimistic, but if I'm intimate enough with the motor when tuning for 93 octane and have the heads surfaced a tad, i think i can hit that mark

Cylinder heads is where the real power is made. I prefer aftermarket aluminum heads over the original cast iron heads. The 440 Source Stealth heads are relatively inexpensive compared to some of the other heads out there. If money is an issue, another alternative would be to have some mild porting work done on your existing heads. I would suggest a performance valve job and a bowl blending. I wouldn't bother with milling the heads if they're within the accepted tolerance. ( .003 using steel shim gaskets .006 with composite gaskets ) . There are a couple of things I forgot to mention. First is you need to upgrade your valve springs if you plan on using the cam I recommended. Second ,make sure when choosing headers that they will fit your car. I recommended the Shumacher Tri-y Headers because of the smaller primarys (1 5/8 in) which is good for making low end power on a mild street engine. If you do decide to go with those headers or whatever header you choose ,verify that they will fit before you go out and purchase them.
