Hi all.
Ive noticed a leak from my power steering box, its in an odd spot. according to the service manual, theres an o-ring behind the cover and lock-nut that i suspect is faulty.
The fluid doesnt leak from smaller nut ontop of the cover but more so seeps onto the cover and locknut, hence why i believe its the big o-ring that is at fault
has anyone had to replace this?
is it just a simple loosen lock-nut, remove cover, replace o-ring and reattach cover and nut? or will removing this cover cause any issues with tension on shaft/bearings etc?
