What seems to be the consensus for which clamps to use for radiator hose. I have a several of each

I use these.... I haven't had one fail yet.

Same here. Just be sure to buy good ones. I like to use a nutdriver or 1/4 drive sockets to tighten rather than a screwdriver.

The OEM style Corben or spring clamp is nice if you are doing a restoration where originality is a goal, but they can be a PITA to work with.

Both choices will work fine, and as was said use a nut driver and socket. Just be careful not to strip the clamp. Quality clamps will take more before they strip.

Depending on local climate, both can fail when old and crusty..(like some members,Heh heh).
As much as I like the pretty O.E. hose clamps,I use the ring gear clamps on the right.

I've had two fail, but they are still what I use.

if you don't over tighten these clamps, which i've seen and have done. none on my cars that's for sure, just on old irrigation systems
