Interesting project. Not sure why the seller is suggesting an engine swap of the original 318. This car is an interesting piece of history that needs to be restored as original. My .02.

Doesnt hurt to 'mothball' the original drivetrain in the garage corner and sink in a TNT440 just for fun right? Trust me, id rather find a SOLID P?21 car as a donor rather then sell this one.:/

@the seller - You DO know that Mopar never had a "Interceptor Police Package" - that is a FORD trademarked term. The correct terminology for a Mopar police ("K" in the second character) is "Police Pursuit" or the "Police Patrol" package. The 225 and 318 police cars would have the "Police Patrol", and big block cars had the "Pursuit" package. Just so ya know!

Well, i dont read the words 'interceptor police package' anywhere in the ad, but i do see where it reads interceptor police pursuit! I DO on the other hand see where he wrote 'police patrol' sporting the 318 mill....etc! Maybe hes trying to sway the ford guys away from their blue ovals?
Wow.....critics!!! Go easy on this guy will ya? Lol.

To me, it's a cop car. For one or two here, the nomenclature is a religion.
My religion is Furys...

Agreed! They are all the same in my rearview mirror, this i know! I think i call them 'OH SH#T, COPS....' At that very moment. I must say, ive been very smart by not accepting the challenge on whether or not they were pursuit or patrol vehicles!

Thankyou, trust me, it wasnt easy or 'time friendly' to put it all together! Theres a few hours dedicated for sure. Hope it provides all with the info needed.(and then some!) lol.

Remember not ALL Police cars were "K" code vin...many Washington State Patrol cars including mine has "M" code Fury III and individual police options added to a fancier car model. I have WSP/Chrysler documentaion and Galen Govier decoded to confirm.

What is included in a "Police Patrol" package ? Thanks

From all i have gathered its basically the drivetrain. Your patrol cars would have the smaller cid engines, whereas your pursuit vehicles would have the larger 383 in the b body pursuits or a choice of440's(2). Other then that i believe the other options are the same between the two.

I see the $795.00 reserve has been met! Dont miss out on a cool rare two door!!! Question??? How rare are the PK21 cars? I searched online and cant even find another 2 door. Hmmm...?

Yup. Its a shame honestly. Still looking for another tho....just cant find it, not even a pic. Im not hoping for high dollars, but id take this car in a heartbeat over many high dollar ebodies that we have all witnessed being loaded on a trailer with a forklift! Those sales ill never understand.
