I didnt have any issues seeing it go, I'm down to three projects now, another 68 charger, 70 challenger and the GT. I will stay open to 1970 Sport Fury and i think I would be happy with all that.
As for my property, yes i have plenty of room and it a quiet part of the country, all good.

Okay, rear bumper bar is off, the lower valance panel is in good condition and wont really need anything. The bumper bar though has bubbles of rust where you can see the elastomeric white rubber bulging, I would like to find another bumper in good condition to replace it, rechroming isn't really an option as I don't want something that will stand out on the car as being new. I am not painting this car or replacing any other chrome work so I would like to find a bumper with "slight" patina. The rear of the lower edge of the bumper area on the car will need some work but again, not too bad. I also found an inspection tag that fell out after I removed the gas tank, I also see that it says there is another internal gas tank insid

e, I have come across this before.

These pics are more for Cancritter, but good reference for anybody wanting to know how the actuating bar mounts.

dam you even have the motor boot...argh...heard these can be had as repops but have yet to locate...belive they repoped for charger or challangers at some point...just guessing at which cars they repoped for...looks like a hunt is in order.....thoughts folks?

Yeah I saw the boot and thought, nice score! I haven't seen one intact before either, this one isn't perished at all and is still soft.

Wait... There's a boot over the motor?? I didn't know that!

ya they generaly had a boot to protect them from the elements being in the position they are...
have heard one of the main repop companys have them for other mopars...again..have figured out which or where yet
imagine these boots disappeared first time there was headlight issues with doors

Went on a spending spree today and bought some bits, check out the pics , there were some other things too but I didn't get pics for them, you get the idea though. Mind you it all cost me less than $300 so I'm happy.

I did some more strip down today but it all got cut short as the weather turned bad, even a report of a tornado touching down in town.

Did some more rear end work, as you will see I am trying to get all the colors right, the hogs head done in cast iron grey as they were unpainted when fitted to a car, the brake backing plates are done it zinc phosphate coating. All new seals and gaskets fitted and the wheel bearings don

Thanks, for the kudos on the garage, it's huge, but still doesn't have enough room! Funny you should mention the pads, here is a pic of what I found on mine, original canvas units with plastic plugs. I can only get plastic pads now, that's probably a better idea anyway.

Damn nice work you do! I like following other progress threads :)

Maybe this can help you:
I saw this video a while ago about how to treat your leaf springs, and the pro said do not paint or grease your spring leafs because it weakens them.
