Wow. Drop dead gorgeous. Good luck.

Word of caution from the experienced for the future...
If you see a car that you're going to pursue, dont post it.
At least not until it's a done deal or you pass on it.

Looks like a nice car.

The Lean Burn is still hooked up. ATC II car. You need to find out if the wipers work.

Lash probably gave him $5k for it and it will be listed for $15k after the ArmorAll and spray bomb undercoating cover up is done by next weekend...

I've never considered that an issue, Bob.
Plus the seller says it runs great.

I haven't converted my Newport......yet.

I've tried everything to get it to run right. 3 different computers, 2 carbs, etc,. I'm done playing with it.

Not buying this one - beautiful exterior but the interior color combo turns my stomach :wideyed:

Thank you for the heads on posting

In fact, it's a plus in my book because the engine hasn't been dicked with.

I hear you. The seller of my car said the same thing. No problem...I would rather dick it up on my own. LOL!

On the Formals I've had with ATC II, where the freon had bled out (every one I've had), the heater has always worked well for heat/ defrost.

Not familiar with Formals/ATC II. If the A/C doesn't work then the heat/defrost also
would not work ? Thanks

The ones I looked at with ATC II (not anywhere as nice as this red one) the blower motor didn't work at all. Some of the dash pad screws missing and the fuse box hanging down. I only looked at one where it was working (blowing air) the compressor wouldn't cycle on at all.

Precisely my point, the compressor will not cycle if the freon pressure is too low due to the low pressure cut off switch. In my experience, Formals seem to have had troubles with freon leaks. The Imperial Coupe I recently sold to Cantflip is the best ATC II I had...it had low freon, it cycled to all modes and the compressor intermittently cycled which means that the charge was borderline for the cutoff switch...literally could've been the "needs a charge" that e all hear about. But I lost storage and was forced to sell before I could move on that...

I've had to replace 4 blower motors in various cars over the years and only run into one ATC II car with a blown fan motor, so I think ATC II is no harder on motors than other systems...now accessing the motor is another topic.

.now accessing the motor is another topic.
I will have to admit defeat there.
Inside my right front wheel well, you'll find an access panel to the motor.
I don't know if it was ingenious or blasphemous.
But it's there now. Whatever...

Is that access panel something you or somebody did?

I had new lines made with the existing hose ends. Replaced the H-Block, receiver drier, all the O-rings with green ones, and the metal gaskets at the compressor. Vacuumed it down for 30 minutes and it held ...... and filled it with R134A and got 30 degrees at the center vent. I checked it 2 days ago and still getting 30 degrees at the center vent. I did have to replace the condenser last fall. I found a place in California that makes bolt in new ones.
