Hello! I'm new here but not new to cars. I've finally gotten into the vintage mopar segment and bought a 67 newport 383 2bbl. The car was a basket case. I've replaced every single brake component (except backing plates), every single fuel component (except original carter 2bbl) and dozens of other missing components. I cannot for the life of me find an air filter assembly that will fit. I'd rather not go with a 4bbl due to the cost of intake/carb/linkage etc. Anyone out there have one they will sell/trade? I have some spares from my work including the glass from the front smoking windows/trim/brackets etc. This car was going to be scrapped so I'm very pleased she's now on the road and drivable. I've put together a temporary air filter assembly so no worries I'm not that stupid. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks to all for your support and replies. A friend of mine who owns a machine shop made an adapter out of aluminum for me so my 5 1/8 filter will now fit my 4 7/32 air horn. Fits like a dream. Here's a picture of the old girl. Still trying to find an old set of SS or Ralley wheels ( 4 1/2"x5 15") if anyone has a set they'd sell/trade. Body/paint/exhaust up next. She is now road ready and street legal!

Part of the issue I'm having (ironicly) is rust. No yards have anything left up here pre-1980. There are very few specialty shops/custom shops etc nearby. Many parts came out of backyards and fields of neighbors and friends. I probably looked at 50 old carbed vehicles and found absolutely none with a compatable (or remotely compatable) filter. I'm very jealous of those of you living below the salt line.

You need any parts let me know. I have an ever growing empire. I seek world C body domination
