Went to test fit my rebuilt RV2 compressor onto my new engine. Seems that the crankcase cover hits the front corner of my heads. Anyone else have this issue before? Thinking of grinding the compressor ever so slightly for clearance.

Disregard, must've been tired after work yesterday. The compressor fit well, just had to remove the temp sending unit on the water pump.

Fits just fine, just needed to remove my temperature sending unit from underneath and relocate it.

I can't quite see the entire thermostat housing...to see if the compressor bracket is in the way of the thermostat housing bolt.
Save yourself a headache and grind a little metal off the compressor mounting bracket where the thermostat housing bolt closer to the left side of the car. You'll be able to remove the bolt to (change the thermostat) without taking the compressor off if you grind enough metal away to get a socket on that dang bolt.

Sounds like a good idea
