Looking for Chrysler 1970 2dr rear pillar inner plastic mouldings left and right please!? Colour not important must be in good shape, thankyou Kevin

The rake of the side passenger windows/pillar is different 70/71 i believe! I have both year cars but i will double check, now you mention it Bob there is some dash stuff i need for my 71, i shall take a look tomorrow and double check, what shape are they in on yours Bob?

Its almost impossible to remove that C pillar inside plastic trim piece in one piece anymore, since after all this time, they are pretty brittle and then you have to be able to get behind the clip holding it on to the C pillar (just like a door panel clip, so it doesn't come out that easy either) and that clip is in the center of the whole piece. Even using a thin flat but slightly curved bar to try to remove it they still break on me most of time these days. I am lobbying Bob Baker of ABC moparts to have these reproduced and he is working with his supplier to get some made up. I gave him a couple perfect ones to use for this project. I am hoping he will be able to provide them by the end of the year. This would be one of those higher volume parts, I believe, needed by the 1969 through 1971 C body two door hardtops (not the fast tops though). They are all the same in those years for the standard curved roof.

I agree! The plastic moulding is unfortunately at its thinnest around that centre mounting pin/clip which to fetch out successfully needs to be at its strongest!

I killed one simply by cleaning the rear window. Had a set reproduced for free from the guy who did my Hurst decklid as compensation for the Long waiting time. They lack the grained structure though, they'll do for the Moment but I'm as well looking forward to a possible correct repop.

How about use some kind suction cup to pull at mounting clip location? I have to remove mine and dont want to break them.

pretty much depends on the General condition of the plastic. Mine was so fragile there was no Chance at all I guess to pull it without damage, even touching it broke it, same goes for those bench bucket plastic covers on the side of the Imperial/Hurst seats. Had them glued together from the back with the stuff the use to make dentures.
