Those seats/door panels are original to a Newport Custom, not a New Yorker. But they do look nice.

i was chasin' because i had his number wrong...with each passing year i am less able to tell a "six" from an "eight".

anyway my newport is getting its last upgrade to go with mechanical stuff i did last summer (360 to 440 at '69 HP spec, 3.23 sure-grip).

real nice original pieces. nearly flawless. wound up working out a fair deal for all the other parts (handles, knobs, arm rests etc). seller was a cool guy - diehard mopar nut.

btw the donor car was lost in an engine fire. i can relate .. had it happen once. frightening how fast they go.
