I am Jim Dent, I am looking for a 1969 thru 72 Plymouth Police car. I would prefer a 72 with a 440 PK package but will consider any 383 or other PK package. Thanks, I will accept responses at 859 575.4444 Jim

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Thanks to all for the prompt replies welcoming me to your site. I am Jim Dent and I am located in Richmond, Ky. I am into old fire trucks basically. I have two 90 year old Seagrave pumpers (really small trucks by today's standards). My friend Steve and I are both retired police and I am retired fire as well. I am helping him to locate a suitable Plymouth, preferably a Fury 1, to restore as a Fayette County, Kentucky police patrol car. They went out of business (so to speak) in 1973 when the city of Lexington and the county of Fayette merged into the current Lexington Fayette Urban County Government system. We are hoping to find an original restorable or restored vehicle in fair to very good condition with an original PK41 440 police package or at least an original authentic ex police car with a correct 383 or 318 police package VIN coding, in that pecking order. The better the condition the more interested we will be. I am too old to try to put a rust buck back together from scratch. We are willing to travel to look at any solid prospects. The car needs to be between 1968 and 1972 to remain authentic. Any assistance in locating any prospects will be greatly appreciated by both of us. My e- address is [email protected]. Thank you, Jim
