Calgary AB all-Mopar show

Hi Peter,

thanks for the pics.
Out of the C-bodys I like your wagon most !

How many cars do attend in total?
150-200?
Does it cost to enter the show?

Carsten
Thank you. The official count was 162 cars. It costs us $10 to park on the showfield, or $20 if you want to enter the judging and qualify for prizes.

thanks for the info.

I think it is a great idear to make two different prices, one for those that just want to attend (and don't care for a trophy) and those who want to be judged.

Is it the biggest Mopar show in your area?

Recall steering wheel.

I pointed one of these out to another guy at a show, it seems few people know. The gap between the spokes is the perfect size for getting your fingers stuck. The later version of this wheel has much smaller openings. I've never seen one with a black (vs woodgrain) rim... either a C-body thing, or something to do with a Canadian lumber agreement.

Will they still honour the recall?

It's close. This year I think so. We have three Mopar shows nearby. This one in Calgary, one 1 1/2 hours north in Red Deer, and one 2 hours south in Lethbridge. The biggest one is dependent on the weather. The Calgary one is on the grass though, which makes it a more comfortable choice.

peter you lucky bugger...may have to give ya some coin to buy me some lotto tickets.....:poke:
I don't win anything in the lottery. My wife, on the other hand had won a full length fur coat when they were still accepted fashion, and she won a Stars lottery home in Edmonton in 98.

What a great setting for a car show. The wagon looks great and I am very impressed with the M-37 among many others. I saw that 69 Fury at a show in Edmonton the other month and noticed it had a 140 MPH certified speedo. I showed up near the end and couldn't find the owner to speak with. I was also wondering about the vacuum gauge on the console, always thought those only came on slabs, anyone know? Great info on the recall wheel, that's an interesting fact few would know. Gotta admit it looks great!

Great looking show thanks for posting the pics. Well deserved on the awards. Nice to see all the big C's getting out out.
