Looking for a 2-door 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury. 383 or 440. Must have A/C. Would like a running, driveable car that I can restore while I drive. I understand the rear window channels and subsequently the trunk often has rot, but would rather not have much more to do than that rust-wise.

Thanks

Thanks. Happened once for me, figure it's worth trying it again.

Good luck in your search. I would think if patient your area where you live should provide a nice rust free fury.
It took me 6 months of looking to find my 69 which was the year I wanted.
Rust free is key!! I paid more now for mine being rust free but in the long run I will save money and enjoy it more. Also my advise would be,,,be ready to roll money wise and time wise to get there as soon as possible. I had a few nice ones slip through my fingers as I was booking airline flights to see it. Where did they go?? Europe within a day or 2 of being listed. One showed up with cash and put it on a boat the other bought it sight unseen and shipped it. Compared to other American classic cars these are dirt cheap and very popular over the pond as well as the more expensive models.

Thanks. Appreciate it. Yeah, I'm not in a big hurry. I've been through this rodeo more than once, so I know not to pay too much for something that isn't in the condition I want it. I've seen a few lately where I just didn't agree with the price vs. condition.

Turboomi, yours is a great '69. Really like the color too.

I can tell you like me we have been down the love at first sight rust pit road lol!!
Thanks for the compliment for my new Fury. I praise all the previous owners for my good fortune.
Let us know and see what you find!

Dammit. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I even really like the green. Except I'm really partial to the '70.
If I lived in Phoenix, I would still look at it.

Should have left it on the truck and brought it to Carlisle. I could have been persuaded

Check out my thread titled "Saved From the Crusher". I could be talked into selling. I have all the A/C components. I also have a '70 Fury III convertible with a '70 Sport Fury hood, grille, and marker lights if that piques your interest.

Hey MTMoparfan65, My winter project for my 69 fury 440 is to locate any and all underhood components for my AC system. The firewall rearwards is still there but anything under the hood is gone. Anything I maybe interested in?
