Ellie and I had tentative plans to attend the "cruising the coast" in the Admiral and Connie. Dosen't look like we'll get there though. To much maintenance and upgrades to complete before our winter cruising season.
Sorry we'll miss you. You'll love the meet.
I believe the Shrimp festival is the following weekend. You can follow US 98 East to Alabama 59 and go south to Gulf shores, or, even better .... Get to Dauphin Island and take the ferry across the Mobile Bay to Ft Morgan, Then to 59 in Gulf Shores. You won't regret that ride.

We took the #40 out towards Winchester and had a beautiful drive today
Stopped in Fancy Ohio just outside of Springfield Ohio at a crazy huge antiques outlet
The most organized one I've ever seen
One thing that stood out was this converted Singer sewing machine
I thought it was pretty cool but not at the $395.00 asking price!

I feel your pain, every time I look in the mirror I see the fuzz that still is above my forehead and I think I still have some hair on top until I see the top and back with a mirror. I shaved my head once and my wife hated it. She said if she rolled over in the middle of the night and saw my head she thought there was a stranger in bed with her. Lol

Well Damn I just saw the thread or would have been happy to host you at the Tallhair Junk Emporium and Bar but it looks like you are past me though. I just got back into town from VA yesterday afternoon and haven't had a lot of time to peruse the threads.
You can stop in and see my junk (car junk that is) on the way back through if you are coming back up this way. I'm about 30 min from STL on IL side. Location is Mascoutah, IL a couple miles off I 64 on IL Hwy 4

Stopped inEdinburgh, IN for lunch
parking under a shady tree has its' price.
I swear over half the leaves from this tree ended up in the car

We eventually made it just in time to catch the Dixie Belle riverboat ride
We had to drive down some winding roads to get there

The drink of the trip was Tim Hortons but now the sugar free Vanilla ice coffee has gained in popularity
Average temps so far have been in the mid to high 90's
