Epic Road Trip!

we'll take a few days to explore around the St Louis area
Hopefully we can meet up Bryan
I'll call today once we get plans figured out
Great trip and thanks for the thread...

Some of you guy make me wish I was old and used up retired so I could go play:poke:... I planned poorly and will have to work full term or until can't anymore...

It's probably for the best, the more free time I have the more expensive my life seems to become.

Now I have a chance to review things
I just wanted to reply that I'm too young just yet to retire but have been blessed with the opportunity to restore this car and take it on the road trip before the both of us can't anymore in a car like this

As much as I've done to this car it's not as comfortable as my Honda Accord but it will be a live long memory for sure:thumbsup:

Well I'll post an update ... just finished talking Mopars and reminiscing about the "old days" and and other fun stuff with Tom. He's a real class act as we all are right :) !!

We had a nice Mopar chat. Please stop by anytime you are back in my neck of the woods again Tom! I thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Thanks for the kind words Bryan.
The same same for you as well:thumbsup:

It was a pleasure to meet up and sharing memories of our child hood involving the Mopars n what drives our passion for these cars.

Funny thing about travelling around is that my wife n I had stopped at the Casey's Gas bar/convenience store right around the corner from Bryan's home the night before!

A word of caution to our members here though, if you do meet up with Tallhair keep an eye on your dash pad.

Apparently this is a topic that he really likes to sink his teeth into!

Today was a down day for us.

After fixing the signal light issue and cleaning the distributor cap I headed out to old Route 66 just inside the Illinios state line

There is an issue with my internet connection so I'll post pics later

You need to head west to Gulf Breeze. There is usually a large gathering of Mopars at the marina there. It's at the west end of the cruise route, not far.
