Hi All,

First post.... Been soaking up information for years.
I have been looking everywhere for a replacement connector for the headlight switch.
I even called Standard Electrical and they don't have one.

As you can see this one got pretty hot at some point.

Anyone know of a source I am missing.

Thanks,
Mike

Those are pretty universal, just about every Dart/Valiant from 67-67 would have one.

73 - 99 ! ! !
I learned something new. :wideyed:
It is quite possible, my 94 Neon had a pull switch and I wouldn't be surprised it was the same.
Ok, Looking at RockAuto, it looks like the Neon used the same switch, wow, talk about getting your money's worth.

Thanks for the replies! I had found similar connectors and even one the same as the one on e-bay.
when I called Standard Electric who manufactured both the switch and the original connector they said they didn't have one or a cross reference.

The one that is shown on E-Bay is a 9 Pin but the one on the Fury is only 7 pin. I know I could leave the slot blank but will it fit the switch?
Could it be that simple??

Anyone ever replace the housing with one like one on ebay?

Mike

We use that same connector here at Painless. The switch you have should match up to that connector it will just not have a terminal in all of the same places. If not switch the switch over to a 72 duster and it will make it much easier down the road to replace if you have to. They will fit in the dash the same as what you have. I have a connector on my factory harness on my black car if you want an oem one.

Thanks BJS Racing! I will order one of these. Original is not a requirement as this car will never be a show car.
Its a good 20 or 30 footer :)
Just trying to get it back to being able to drive it!
