But a definite moron!

1966 Dodge Charger
SELLING FOR A FRIEND. 1966 Dodge Charger. The car has been customized by the previous owner. 1960 Plymouth Fury tail fins were grafted to the rear quarters. Custom side scoops. Custom hood. Custom dash. The car was in a garage fire. Hot shingles fell on the top surface of the car front to back but did'nt warp any sheet metal. Every panel was affected as far as the paint. No dents. The glass survived but the windshield cracked. The black 1967 interior was restored prior to the fire and survived. These pictures show the soot that did get inside. We will post more pictures after the interior is cleaned. 440 Big Block automatic. This was a running driving Atlanta Georgia car. Sonoramic cross ram induction with the correct carberators, 2903s both have BC1 date codes. At this time we don't know what year the engine and transmission are. We will find out. Call Grant with any questions.

This car was not in a garage fire. After what was done to it customizing it, It was so ashamed of itself it tried to incinerate itself. :D

But just look at that patina!

I guess if you wanted to do a Mad Max/Batmobile type thing...

His "friend" is to embarrassed to sell it himself! That cross-ram system has some value though.

Oh it's an expensive parts car at this point.

So ugly it couldn't burn completely:wtf:

Are those speakers in the dash? Yuck! That car was a mess before the fire. This is one of the examples of why I'm not into the full custom thing either. Too many people seem to think that they have the same eye as George Barris or the other professional custom guys. They end up building something atrocious. A lot of nice bodies have been ruined in the process. I wouldn't try building a custom because I know I'm not George Barris or any of those guys. I may modify a removable body part like a hood, but that's about where I draw the line...for me. The wheels, the engine mods, I say go for it, but not body mods. As for paint jobs, yeah sure, paint can be changed so, the car hasn't been physically ruined and it's eventually going to have to be repainted anyway. And this rant from a guy who doesn't usually criticize other people's cars!

Here's what I mean. Some of these I like, many of them I don't. If the public (or the judges) like them, they become a million dollar show car, but if the public doesn't like them???
