Old Man with a Hat
Just a pic I tripped across. Seemed interesting enough to post.
There's a limo service in Watkins Glen, NY that uses a 57.
I know nothing about them, just happened to stumble across it the other day.
It's all in getting used to it one of those takes less room than a tractor trailerI'd like to see someone try to parallel park one of those.
And then you can throw them around like they are small cars...It's all in getting used to it one of those takes less room than a tractor trailer
Two piece driveshaft. Just like a long wheelbase truck with a carrier about halfway back.Whenever I see cars like this, or the really stretched limos of today, all I think about is how long the driveshaft has to be! Everything else would be normal, except for brake lines of course.
Yes, but. . .It's all in getting used to it one of those takes less room than a tractor trailer
Sure just use back by sound method.Yes, but. . .
Can you parallel park your tractor trailer on the blind side?
First shot without pulling up. . .
Mike McCandless bought that a few years back, not sure if he still owns it or not.Just a pic I tripped across. Seemed interesting enough to post.

speaking of dead guys...who is the restorer guy who died not too long ago (2 years or so)? I thought it was Julius, but apparently not.
having a massive case of CRS...
Depends on the length of the car, the longer the stretch the more carrier's and shaft sections. Two piece driveshaft. Just like a long wheelbase truck with a carrier about halfway back.
