I'm thinking about selling my '66 SF convertible and am trying to come up with a value for it. The car has been sitting (mostly in a garage) for a very long time. It has a 383 with automatic, power steering and manual brakes, factory red with a black vinyl interior, and a torn white top that I think is original. It hasn't run since the late 1990's but I had it cranking earlier this year. It's complete down to the fender skirts but needs total restoration. I have a new exhaust system and replacement rear bumper to go with the car. One section of floor pan (passenger's side rear)is rusted out. I have a clear NJ title in my name, so the buyer wouldn't have to jump through hoops getting paperwork for it.

What's a fair value for it?

Thanks,
Harold

Sold one in a little worse shape last year for $2500. It was a 318 yellow car though.

The inspection sticker is still on the passenger side . Exactly how long has she been off the road? Late 80s?

I would say not more than $3K the way it sits and you could potentially double that if you got it running/roadworthy.

As-shown, not much.
Each additional pic will help push up the price.

I dont think there's much more to be had by photos or even in getting it running. Needing a top and a hole in the floor tells the story. twenty five hundred is it, max.

There was a 66 383 Sport Fury vert was for sale at the Don Gartlits Mopar show a few weeks ago. It is a decent driver but not perfect. Owner was begging passers by to make an offer saying he wanted to drive home in a rental car. Asking price was $14500.00.

The sticker is from 1982-83 and I got the car in 1985. I had it running and local driving occasionally through the late 1990's then we moved to Jersey and it's been sitting.

Nice car. Why not get her going again?

We're empty-nesters now and want to downsize. I have two other old Plymouths (a '51 business coupe and '52 sedan, both need work) and we can't move with 3 extra cars. I regret not doing the car, but that's water under the bridge. This one is the most desirable so should be the easiest to sell.

It's a 3-window coupe with a big trunk. Sorry for the old picture. Can't appreciate the look at this angle.
Between the Fury and the business coupe, I'd probably go with the coupe.
I can look at at 1,000 Furys for sale but not many coupes.
