Would this be an available factory paint option?

Lol... I didn't know my wagon was such a source of controversy!!

That being said, my wagon is a survivor (unrestored) with all paint and no vinyl for the two toning. Genuine Canadian car with many options.

All the sections painted white in my car were available with other contrasting colours (IE light blue wagon with dark blue roof stripes and side spear) OR with black levant grain vinyl. In 65 the same was available but the vinyl grain was pebble - I forget the proper name. As well the service manual says that woodgrain was available in thise sections too, but I have never seen one.

Two toning was quite rare then as it had generally gone out of favour after the two and three toning craze of the 50s.

The two toning pictured on the white and gold coloured wagon at the beginning of this thread is an aftermarket two toning - NOT available from the factory in that way in any form - paint OR woodgrain. On the lower front fender on that wagon are sections with no trim dividing the colours... Ma Mopar would never have done that.

Here is a photo of my wagon without Ice Cream cones!!

Boy my memory is bad, I saw that wagon and it was one of my favorites, and I took several pictures of it. It didn't hit me until now that it had a white roof and a stripe.

That looks like it has vents under the roof rack ... reminiscent of a 67 Coronet R/T hood scallops. Must be the lower shelf / ribs of the roof rack.

Sure is sharp in that color combo

I will also add that the "stripe" actually follows the body line that comes up from the rear window. As I've started laying out my plans for the 65 fury wagon, it possesses the same roof line and I had mocked up a similar scheme based on the roof lines without knowing of this car. It's an interesting way to terminate the line essentially. It flows from the bottom of the windows then up vertically along the backside of the back side windows onto the roof, where subtle line bring it forward on the roof back to the windshield. It was was a crafted note. Anyhow... sharp wagon!
