This came from a new junkyard that I recently discovered in Princeton WV. To see 30 pics of this yard go to the cars for sale forum. This New Yorker has some weird options! Buckets & buddy seat, 8 track, discs, Rallye wheels & there is a giant thing in the trunk that may be part of the air system with duct-work that runs under the seat. Anybody know what this is? Sorry I don't have a photo of it yet. Strangely it doesn't have power windows which suit me just fine! Its going to need a new top, headliner & carpet as well as tires. I may have paid too much for this project but with only 7K made of this 2dr body in 69 I'm thrilled to own it!

All you guys finding and saving these nice cars from junkyards is great, but the "You Suck" list is getting mighty long these days.

Nice car, nice save! Compared to other models of Chrysler products you paid very little. I felt the same way when I bought my 69 Fury. It was abit on the high side compared to the "typical price" of the same model but damnit that is what I wanted and 1/3rd the price of a GTX. I'm sure you did well.

Rear air in a coupe?

Interesting options, and there weren't many two-doors. Most coupe buyers went for a 300 then.....

Didn't know SMS did carpets. Auto Custom Carpets in Anniston, AL is another good option for you. Nice that the seats are still so good.

You have been VERY GOOD to rescue that New Yorker, and that will earn you lots of bonus points with Santa. With the Chrysler road wheels, do you also have disc brakes? Not sure if they were still using those "unobtanium" Budd disc brakes then......

Good luck with it and we hope to hear/see more of it soon.......

I'm pretty sure they get theirs from ACC. Most carpets out there are either ACC and 1 or 2 other manufacturers. Gotta shop around for the best price as a result.
