Detroit muscle has been my go to for rebuild heater box gasket kits - But no C Body? Any idea why or if any other maker has a rebuild kit foe these heater boxes? Can any of the other kits be used in part - like the B Body kit? Thanks

You should be able to use double faced foam insulation in the proper thicknes/density then trim to match contours. I had to improvise on a front bumper seal on my '62 300 and the firewall to hood on my '78 New Yorker St Regis Coupe.

Yeah, they have C-body. I just bought one. Their website isn't very good. Just call them. Or they also sell their kits on eBay.

I stumbled around long enough and eventually found it on eBay. That was difficult. Thanks for checking on that for me. Now I just need to save the small fortune for that heater core

Just bought one of those too. Absurd how much it was, but no one really makes them anymore so I guess hence the price.

I have a core from a 70 Fury, I guess I won't know what I've got in my 68 until I pull it to so I'm hoping I can switch and swap peices out coupled with the rebuild gaskets and build it back up. Off hand, do you remember on your heater core, did it list the applications? I'm wondering if I already have the parts I need if 68 69 70 all interchange.

I would exercise caution when looking between -68 and 69+, many things on these car changed in 69
