Mopar enthusiast for many years. Member of A B and E bodies only as well. Looking at a Fury Wagon and thought I would join here as well.

Neat, I didn't realize it was an automated 1st post. Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Thanks! Is that a WC in your pic? I've been looking for a WC54... though I might have a lead on a WC62 in the middle of the nowhere northern Canada. But we'll see.

Anyhow, the wagon would be considered junk by Cali standards, but here in the Midwest it's pretty clean though the rear floor pans will have to be replaced. I'm going back next weekend to look it over again. It was supposed to be Belvedere, so it threw me off when I went to look at it. It's a 65 Fury 3 (P752?). It was a big block car (auto trans is still in it), but when whoever had pulled the motor years ago, they took EVERYTHING including the fender tag and even the gauges. I'm much more familiar with A and B body (and trucks) so I know there was at least the 383 (not sure if there were two 383 options or not) or if the wedge was available on a wagon in 65 or not. A lot of the parts are in the back of the car that have been removed. It's a touch high so when I go back I'm going to see if he'll come down a little. At the least I'm going to need a parts car. I do have a thing for the 65-67 fury's. The other side is actually in better condition, I was just taking pics of the areas of concern. It did have a fender replace and there is a small puncture in the front passenger door. I just wish it was a 9p. It's got the trunk instead... however the whole trunk area is solid surprisingly. I wouldn't mess with it except my love for wagons and it being so close.

how the mounts are there , the driverside bracket is 65 c body only and bb a bodies . mounts off the front of the block . and your block must have the two bosses by the oil pump drilled and tapped for mounting fasteners .

The mitten! I guess that makes Indiana a boot. I remember I was probably 18 before I learned about the mitten. :)

Well good to know that 65 C bodies had an odd duck arrangement. I know the passenger side mount is still there. I'm going back this weekend to take a longer look and I'll pay attention then. I guess at least the fury wagons aren't as uncommon as some of the B body wagons and they made plenty of others if I have to look for it.

Thank you! Yes, I've always liked their proportions.
