A RHD 1969 Daytona?

Yesterday I thought of that little Midget when I saw the car. I completely forgot he owned it He was big in Mopar circles back then but quickly fell from grace. His handle was ( onebadsuperbird) and has a nice red white and blue winged car. He was also the producer/ owner of Five Star Productions.... otherwise known as knee high productions. He went all over the country filming mopar events and selling DVD s and VHS tapes
He did a video of a car show/event that I was very involved in back in 1990. I thought the guy was kind of a dick, but that was just my opinion. He showed up and we asked for a video to give away as a door prize and he was reluctant to do that, although he did do it. One guy that bought the video of our event said that the video was awful. Very shaky and as he said "a lot of radiator caps". I don't think I ever saw it.

I did a search and was surprised to see him still in business. Five Star Productions, Super Action MoPar Videos

Far as RHD Mopars go, they were built in the US for export to GB, South Africa, and a few other countries that drive opposite us. But, these were A- and C-body cars! No B-bodies were built as RHD. Obviously, this Daytona was converted in Australia for legal road use, as have others. I did quite a bit of research several years ago concerning factory RHD Mopars that were built in North America for export. No evidence of RHD B-bodies from the factory exists. Lots of A and C-body evidence is out there, as well as pickup and Ramcharger right-handers, though. That Daytona would be a sweet car to drive, I'm sure!

Thats the guy ...... arrogant and obnoxious

He did a video at Bandimere Dragstrip outside Denver in 1993, at the big Mopar show that is there each year. He took some great video of my Coronet that was on that tape of the event. Didn't have a problem with him then.

Seems to me his arrogance and pomposity knocked him down.
There was also a big ol feud over on Moparts many years back, he vowed never to come back, I haven't seen him there since. Of course this is all conjecture on my part.
Fact is, he's not out there like he used to be...

I was on Moparts a lot at that time. That's the way I remember it too. He seemed to have a running feud with a couple of members.....

He carried press credentials to all events he was at. Cool if you're a good guy, nothing humble about him.
