So I am new to C bodies and just joined this site today. I have a B body addiction and have been a member on forebodies for some time now. Please contact me if you have the following items for a 1965 Chrylsr 300 and you wish to part with them.

I need the letter "E" for the hood.
I also need the glove box door emblem.
Last thing is I need a passenger side back up light clear lense.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for replacement seat covers?

Thanks

My glove box door has three holes in it. Looks like an emblem goes there.

You either don't have a 300 or someone installed an incorrect replacement glovebox door. There should be a brushed aluminum panel covering the top (vertically flat) portion of the door.

The car is a 300. The glove box door doesn't have any aluminum on it. Will snap some pics tomorrow

The entire dash from door to door should have the brushed aluminum appliqué as well. If you see in my pic, I opted to go for an engine turned look on the dash because the original brushed finish was deteriorated beyond restore and I was unable to find a suitable replacement.

The holes you are seeing may very well be the retention holes for the aluminum panel. I have a '65 300 also and it has no emblem.

There are no retention holes for the aluminum appliqué. It loops over the top of the glove box door and is secured under the chrome trim at the bottom.

Thanks for the pic. You're just missing the aluminum appliqué that covers the glove box door. It can be a tough part to find. I recommend checking eBay frequently as they pop up from time to time. Searches for 1965 Chrysler Dash or 1965 Chrysler Glove Box should yield the best results.

Post more pics of your car!

That black on the glovebox door, and the 3 holes, mean that is a Newport glovebox door.

I have a '65 300, and it definately has a ''300'' emblem on the glove box door...the two holes to attach the glove box
emblem were already present, and fit the two studs on the emblem perfectly. The aluminum piece covering the front of the glove box is sort of incorrect on both my glove box and the other one because the alternating black strips have been buffed off both, but i'm not attempting an accurate restoration anyway...it's going to be more of a ''rat rod''. Let me know if you still need any of the pictured pieces...i have the ''e'' too..

In the OP's picture, the button/lock is higher up on the door than yours, which looks like a 1966 piece to me. On any that I've seen, the 65s had the button near the top of the door and 1966 had it down closer to the middle of the door like yours.

I just grabbed this pic of a 65 300 dash from the internet. The aluminum inlay appears to be different. The button is at the top of the door and there does not appear to be a logo, unless it's in the part of the picture that is cut-off.

Here is a 1966 300 dash. It has the vertical black lines painted on the aluminum inlay, glovebox button near the middle of the door, and "300" logo.

That’s a ‘66 Glove Box Door.

yes, I am sorry for my misinformation; the glove box door that i presently have on my car is definitely from a '66 300...
i have another from a Newport, and a third that has a completely different series of holes...I'll post a picture of it tomorrow

Wow. Exact same diecast dash, yet they changed the lock from 1 year to the next. So easy to make mistakes on scrounging parts for these cars!
